  • George Gordon, 5th Duke of Gordon, 8th Marquess of Huntly, 2nd Earl of Norwich, 13th Baron Mordaunt (1770–1836) Following the death of the 5th Duke of Gordon in 1836 the Marquessate of Huntly was claimed by the heir male, George Gordon, 5th Earl of Aboyne. Also the Scottish Dukedom of Gordon with the British Earldom of Norwich and Barony of Gordon of Huntly created in 1684 became extinct and the Baronies of Beauchamp of Bletsoe and Mordaunt of Turvey fell into abeyance between his five sisters.
