- William Hastings, 1st Baron Hastings of Hastings KG (c. 1430–1483)
- Edward Hastings, 1st Baron Hastings of Hungerford, 2nd Baron Hastings of Hastings (c. 1464–1506), married Mary Hungerford, suo jure Baroness Botreaux, Hungerford and de Moleyns, daughter of Robert Hungerford, 3rd Baron Hungerford, who had been attainted in 1461. Mary managed to obtain a reversal of the attainders of the Barony of Hungerford, Barony of Botreaux and Barony of De Moleyns.

- George Hastings, 1st Earl of Huntingdon, 3rd Baron Hastings of Hastings, 2nd Baron Hastings of Hungerford, 6th Baron Botreaux, 5th Baron Hungerford and 3rd Baron de Moleyns (1488–1544) married Anne Stafford (c. 1483 – 1544) the youngest daughter of Henry Stafford, 2nd Duke of Buckingham and his wife Catherine Woodville, a younger sister of Elizabeth Woodville, Queen consort of King Edward IV.

Following the death of the 10th Earl of Huntingdon the earldom was dormant for 30 years until claimed by Hans Francis Hastings, who succeeded in establishing his right to the earldom and received his summons in that title in 1819. As a consequence of this decision the Earldom of Huntingdon was held to have passed to his late uncle following the death of the 10th Earl of Huntingdon.
The Barony of Hastings of Hastings and the other baronies by writ were held by the Earls of Moira from 1808 and by the Marquesses of Hastings from 1817 until 1868, when on the death without issue of Henry Weysford Charles Plantagenet Rawdon-Hastings, 4th Marquess of Hastings, 5th Earl of Moira, 9th Earl of Loudoun, 17th Baron Hastings of Hastings, etc.

- Sir Charles Abney Hastings, 2nd Baronet (1792-1858) Charles Frederick Clifton, 1st Baron Donington and his wife Lady Edith Rawdon-Hastings, 10th Countess of Loudoun, assumed by Act of Parliament in 1859 the surname and arms of Abney-Hastings. This was required by the conditions of Sir Charles Abney Hastings' will.
