Earl of St Albans KG

  • Henry Jermyn, 1st Baron Jermyn later 1st Earl of St Albans KG (1604-1684) Created Baron Jermyn with a special remainder, failing heirs male of his body, to his elder brother, Thomas Jermyn, in like manner. On his death the Earldom of St Albans became extinct and the Barony of Jermyn passed under the special remainder to his nephew, Thomas Jermyn.
