  • John Stewart, 3rd Earl of Lennox (d. 1526)
  • Matthew Stewart, 4th Earl of Lennox (1516–1571) married Lady Margaret Douglas, daughter of Archibald Douglas, 6th Earl of Angus, and Margaret Tudor, Queen Dowager of Scotland.

  • Henry Stewart or Stuart, 1st Duke of Albany (1545 – 1567) styled Lord Darnley before 1565, King Consort of Scotland from 1565, married Mary, Queen of Scots and father of James VI of Scotland.
