- Lewis Boyle, 1st Viscount Boyle of Kinalmeaky (1619–1642) second son of Richard Boyle, 1st Earl of Cork. Peerage created with remainder, in default of male issue of his own, to the heirs male of his father. He married Elizabeth Feilding (d.1667), the daughter of 1st Earl of Denbigh and his wife Susan Villiers, herself sister to the royal favourite George Villiers, 1st Duke of Buckingham. She was created Countess of Guilford in 1660 for life only.
